The COS Training: 12 Modules

The Collaborative Operating System Training

This foundational program teaches participants how to use the COS to design and facilitate collaborative work. Participants have the opportunity to use their own case material throughout the program in order to generate real-time, relevant work results.

Participants learn to design, facilitate and work according to the COS Principles, Fundamentals, and Five Elements.

Program Schedule

• Prior to the start of the training, participants are provided with approximately two hours of reading material.
• On alternating weeks (starting with Week 1), we hold a 90-minute interactive training for all participants.
• On alternating weeks (starting with week 2), we hold a series of Study Groups for 4 participants.
• In between the interactive Training and Study Group, participants complete the following assignments:
  • Approximately 60-90 minutes of homework
  • A weekly partner meeting to review and complete homework
  • Approximately 20 minutes of reading preparation for the next 90-minute training call

This program runs for 24 weeks (12 Trainings + 12 Study Groups).
